Abstrakt

Extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (eCPR) is a life-saving therapy for selected patients in refractory cardiac arrest. The patient selection and ECMO cannulation are only just the beginning of the eCPR journey. A structured post-cannulation management was associated with improved outcomes in eCPR patients. However, concise guidelines on this topic are lacking. This review aims to contribute to structured eCPR patient management in context of the current literature and our own experience.
