Abstrakt

Adjuvant chemotherapy can be considered a standard treatment for resected Stage II – IIIA NSCLC. Although neoadjuvant Chemotherapy has similar efficacy, it is less often used in Germany. With concurrent neoadjuvant as well as sequential adjuvant chemoimmunotherapy, two new therapeutic options are close to approval. It is a matter of debate, which of them will become the preferred standard. Tumors harboring driver alterations in the ALK- or EGFR-Gene are excluded from current chemoimmunotherapy regimes in early stages. However, for the latter adjuvant treatment with Osimertinib can be given for 3 years.
