Abstrakt

In the year 2017, legal requirements have been created that allow to offer and conduct trainings also for young children from the age of one and their parents. Although the idea and the concept of ASEV Asthma prevention trainings for parents of older school children has already been established between the years 2005 and 2010, the changes of legal circumstances were an opportunity to expand the concept to children of a very young age. The sustainable and successful adaptation of the concept in the past 10 years led to the accreditation within the German Disease Management Program (DMP) in 2018. It took yet another year until all negotiations were completed and ASEV trainings have been incorporated in all DMP agreements in every district of the federal health care system. Since August 19, 2019 financing and implementation are possible nationwide.
